I think most people don’t realize how much water we pump every day. When I talk to neighbors and people in my neighborhood, and we get on the subject of a pipeline that was put through the neighborhood, you tell them that we’re presently pumping 28 million gallons a day, and it just blows their mind.
Then, when you talk about the size of the 96-inch water line, pumping 83 million gallons a day, and the surrounding area needing us—I think it opens their eyes to possibly thinking about how much water they use and maybe being a little more conservative with it.
