Chase Juhl on the Award-Winning Segment C2 Pipeline Project
Segment C2 included approximately five miles of 84-inch pipeline installed through a complex corridor of creeks, watersheds, bayous, and residential areas. Chase Juhl reflects on the project’s recognition as a major industry award winner and what that honor meant to the team.

We won a UIC Award for Segment C2. That was approximately five miles of 84-inch pipeline with Harper Brothers Construction.
We submitted that project to the UIC conference in Houston, and it was eventually nominated and won the award for that pipeline project. I believe it was Water Project of the Year at the time. That would have been 2025.
It was large construction—heavy civil. We had to cross multiple creeks, watersheds, and bayous, and go through people’s backyards.
It was a complex project that was special because of all the moving parts.
It was a huge honor to stand on stage with some of the board members, hold that award, and be recognized for some of the work we do in the field and overall as a program.
It was really cool to receive that award.
