My name is Jay Wheeler, and I’m a Director with the West Harris County Regional Water Authority. I’ve served in this role since 2019. It was an opportunity to take the position after Bruce Parker had recently passed away. Bruce had been a longtime advocate for not only the West Harris County Regional Water Authority since its inception, but he’d also been a longtime President of Nottingham Country MUD.
My role is an oversight role. My history is in project management, both in the IT world and with SAP, the software company that manages large corporations. My job was to get systems implemented on time and on budget.
