WHCRWA Receives 2026 Water Project of the Year Award for Segment B3

The West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA) received the 2026 Water Project of the Year Award for Segment B3 at the Underground Infrastructure Conference (UIC), held January 27–28, 2026, in San Antonio.

Segment B3 was selected from a competitive field of leading water infrastructure projects.

2026 Water Project of the Year Finalists

  • Sherman West 36″ HDPE Force Main HDD — Dakota Utility Contractors LLC
  • Dallas Water Utilities Cedar Crest Water Line — Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc.
  • City of Tempe Rehabilitation of 30″ Water Main — CPM Pipelines
  • West Harris County Regional Water Authority – Segment B3 — West Harris County Regional Water Authority (WHCRWA)
  • Navajo-Gallup Water Supply Project — S.J. Louis Construction, Inc.

This year’s awards brought together the Underground Infrastructure Awards and the UCTA MVP Awards into a single premier industry recognition program.

Segment B3 is a critical component of WHCRWA’s Surface Water Supply Project and reflects the scale and complexity required to deliver a long-term, reliable water supply.

This marks the second industry award received for Segment B3.
