My name is Dennis Gorden.
My role with the West Harris County Regional Water Authority is Director for Precinct 9.
I have been in the water and wastewater business for 28 years. When I retired in 2011, I was serving on MUD district board, and they asked me if I could move over to the West Harris County Regional Water Authority.
One of the requirements is that you have to live in the precinct that you’re representing. Another is that you have to have experience in the business, and I had also served on another board.
After my time in the industry was over, it really was just the beginning.
